Evermark Press is an independent publishing house operating evermarkpress.com. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us through our contact page.
What we collect
- Newsletter data. The email address you submit, plus the date and source of the signup.
- Form submissions. Name, email, and message content when you contact us or submit a manuscript.
- Usage data. With your consent, aggregate page views, referrers, device type, and clicks on "Buy on Amazon" links.
- Technical logs. IP address and user agent, retained briefly by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and we do not sell or rent personal data.
Why we process it
- To send the newsletter you asked for (consent).
- To answer enquiries and evaluate manuscript submissions (legitimate interest / pre-contract steps).
- To understand which titles readers look for and improve the catalog (consent, via analytics cookies).
- To keep the site secure and available (legitimate interest).
Sharing
We share data only with processors that operate the site: our hosting and analytics providers, and our email delivery provider. Clicking a "Buy on Amazon" link takes you to Amazon, where Amazon's own privacy notice applies. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Retention
Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry and submission emails are kept for up to 24 months. Analytics data is retained in aggregate for up to 14 months. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your data, object to processing, opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" (we do neither), and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.
